When you animate an arm going up you dont have to make speed lines on every arm -_- Dude, if you want to make a fast arm, you just take 3 Keyframes,
1 Arm just down
2 Arm halfway with speed lines only on the bottom side
3 arm horizontal.
And thats it, you are learning the people wrong things here. And if you suck at backgrounds then dont make a tutorial about it.
Uhm... You need to have enough frames for the sound and it makes it smoother. (Faster Frame Rates)

No not all animators use that trick with deleting the outlines, infact there arent many who do that. It seems to me that you dont know what you are teaching. The explosions looked afwul and the gun shot wasnt special either.
You should learn all of those things first before teaching anything.

Please, before you do a tutorial on drawning and stuff, learn it yourself first.
These drawnings where horrible and it wasnt even helpful.
